I am Venkatesh Kumaran, pursuing Bachelors Degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli, India. I am working under Prof. Jerzy Szpunar as a Summer Research Student on Magnesium Alloys. My role is to develop a Magnesium Composite ( Magnesium Matrix reinforced with Silicon Carbide) for high impact strength applications and also to improve the formability of Cold rolled Magnesium alloys for automobile applications.
